Attractive Christmas-oriented basket or bucket
Filler material (raffia, shredded paper, crunched up tissue paper)
*Purchase enough to cover the bottom or your basket or bucket
Assortment of specialty food items (chocolates, gourmet meats & cheeses, etc.)
*Stores such as Trader Joe’s and Cost Plus World Market carry specialty foods
3-4 pinecones
Small bunch of faux holly berries
*Available seasonally at craft stores
Clear plastic wrapping film (cut to approximately 4’ x 2’)
1 rubber band
Bow or ribbon to match your basket or bucket
1 decorative Christmas gift tag
Here's how to make this food Christmas basket:

Step 1: Place your basket or bucket on your worktable. |

Step 2: Add the filler material. |
 |
Step 3: Put the specialty food items in the basket. Move the items around until you determine which arrangement is the most aesthetically pleasing. Having items of different shapes and sizes adds visual interest. |

Step 4: Place the pinecones and the faux holly berries in the basket. |
 |
Step 5: Lay the clear plastic wrapping film on your worktable. Put the basket on top of it and gather the wrapping film upwards. |

Step 6: Secure the wrapping film with the rubber band. |

Step 7: Attach the bow and the decorative gift tag. |
